just girl stuff (magic of delicious distraction)

Ok so this might totally be for the ladies, but that's what I am sooo its ok, sometimes to jus hang out with the girls, lol....so what's up with me....welllll boyfriend issues....like what else is new ikr! Sometimes ur jus not the same person u were at the beginning of a relationship, and its not neccessarily anything wrong with that. I mean duhhh its called growth....anywayyyyyy I mean my heart and my good judgement are totally not agreeing with each other....ughhhhhh! What to dooooo!
Sometimes its like great, super, yayyyyy, happy happy joy joy, then its like omg yock get away from me lol lbs.......and my heart swells, and shrinks......I guess that's life but how irritating! Our River Oaks Mall Performance and Fashion Show!

OMG! We couldn't have asked for a better kickoff to our performance schedule! Outfits..check...Dancers...check....we even performed our newest single, Imma Get That Dough(Boy)! We took tons of pics soooo check em out! We have to thank Frances, Emily, and the whole crew at 5-7-9 for allowing us this opportunity (let's go nationallllllllll).....also we really love our mgmt team....Marcos Cantu, the bestest coreographer/creative director 4 girls could have...we looooove you Marcos! Big Chuck our rd mgr, Cynthiaaaaaa for holdin allll togetherrrr, and of course Boss Man, for making it all possible!......it was allll sooo cool...Cricket, Vitamin Water One, and foto 1 digial......thanks for lettin us hanggggg.......oh and Paul Mitchell on the make-up tooo, lol....all in all it was a totally awesome show! Yayyyyy

about rehearsal.....

Well our creative director, and choreographer Marcos is definitely a super cool guy, but when it comes to making us work HARD....he is the devil..lol....we rehearse at LA Fitness in their dance/aerobics room 4 days a week from 9p to midnite.....it gets intense at times! Coordinating your movements perfectly in sync with others can be more than a challenge...but we totally are doing it! And, we must admit, loving EVERY minute of the process! We have dj/xs to pump up the crowd, and make sure all of our musical cues are super on point, and now we have 4 dancers on our single materialistic, on stage as well....lots of movement! Add to that remembering lyrics and the tone, and inflection of the lyrics,c facial expressions, attitude, and of course, swag! It all spells OMG......LOL....but it's all about perfection.....its all about what we have dreamed about our entire lives, its all about our love and passion for what we do, and our dedication to our fans, and supporters, and so no matter what it takes we're going to keep working....harder and harder and harder....until we reach the absolute top, and ummm I don't think we wanna even stop there...lbvs....luv ya! I'm Totallii,I'm Magic, I'm Pop Ularr, and I am Dj/xs and We are Delicious Distraction!!

2.       You all have great chemistry together, how did the group form?

Welllll Urbpop Entertainment basically had a series of auditions, and we were chosen as the ones who had the best chemistry togetherrr!...It was soo natural!-Totallii

3.       How do you describe your sound?

Sassypop with a dancefashionista energetic flair! lol-Magic

4.       Are your songs written from personal experience?

Well, actually they are.....i mean we REALLY like to shop,we really experience the things we put out musically, and we know that most girls, and everybody should be able to relate in some way,,,,well we REALLY hope so!-xs

5.       I love your song “Materialistic,” where did you draw the inspiration
from?

That song is really every girls dream/fantasy u know...We TOTALLY love to shop, and we TOTALLY want "the best for the best,NOTHING LESSSS"....lol-PopUlarr

6.       What city is the group based out of?

CHICAGOOOO-All of US

7.       How is the Windy City, responding to Delicious Distraction?

We are getting sooo much love from not only our city,but from the whole wide worlddd!-Totallii

8.       What is the latest project the group is working on?

Really just working on the rest of our album! perfecting our performance.....trying to prepare ourselves for the future-xs

9.       Who writes the songs, who produces the songs? 

We write, we also have an awesome team of writers around the country we work with as well, especially Mike and Brianna Madison in the ATL they co-wrote Materialistic with our producer dprice!-Magic

10.   Who’s on your management team?

Wow...our mgmt team is lead by Donovan Price(cousin of Beyonce', and formerly of destiny's child's team), but also consists of Craig Adams, and Jonathan Cook(from destinys child's mgmt team) and an awesome support staff..our UrbPop family!!! lol-xs


12.   I need each of you to tell us something your fans don’t know about you. 

Totallii- i'm the biggest MOMMY'S girlon EARTH! hiiii mommyyyyyyy,lol

Magic-I love crab! If I could I would ONLY eat crab breakfast,lunch, dinner, crab ice cream for dessert too!!!

Pop Ularr- i really am a recovering party animal...lol......lol......lol....

Dj/xs- I am really not 4'10! I'm actually wayyyy taller...ummm i'm 4'10 and a half!! Oh yeah and I'm a REAL DJ.....lol

13.   What events do you have planned for this Summer?

Welllll, it should be a busy summer...recording, rehearsing, and lots of promoting, and just being out there performing everywhere we can!!!-xs

14.   What keeps you all grounded in this music business?

We're just really grateful for the opportunity to make our dreams come true! We know there are a lot of people just like us doing they're best to get out here and we love and support them all!-Totallii

15.   What goals does the group have planned for the future? 

To really just reach the top, and spread our music allll overrrr the WORLDDDDDD.....and work with young ladies all around the world to help them, and motivate them to love themselves, and go for they're dreams!-xs

"the girl group thing"

One of the most popular questions interviewers ask is about how girl groups rarely stay together, and how girls canLt get along. As far as dd is concerned, we consider this whole thing a journey. There are bumps, there are curves. There are unexpected things of both a positive and a negative nature. But in the end its all about how bad, and how determined we are to get to our destination. Not saying that dd gets along perfectly, but, we all have a common hunger, a common thirst for the success of dd, and not to disappoint our fans, and those who believe in us, and love us. Honestly, all siblings have their moments and we're sisters, so we do to! The important thing is that at the end of the day, you realize you love each other, perhaps even agree to disagree, and move on. One step closer to the destination that you set out on this journey with the hope of reaching! For us, its the top! The opportunity to let the world hear our music, our message, and yes, all about....the journey!
